From the folks at The Bashio "Hello Everyone, we will host the final Mustachio Bashio on Saturday April 21st. We have had a wild 11 years, and will send Bashio out in style with a celebration of all things facial hair. There will be no contest this year, just a party to celebrate 11 years of Bashio, and a proper send off to our late friend and photographer, Eric Leiser. It's hard to properly explain how big of a deal it is that something that started under a bridge is now on the most familiar strip in the city. If you go to Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Indians, House of Blues Cleveland, iron chef restaurants...you are in an area that's grown to what it is because of Nick Kostis' vision of an entertainment complex that is one of the most beautiful comedy experiences in the COUNTRY. Everything else sprang up around that on East 4th Street, Cleveland, Ohio.
Opened September 6,2002, Pickwick & Frolic Restaurant and Club, "Home to Hilarities 4th Street Theatre" is a complete entertainment experience. Pickwick features a 185-seat restaurant offering American rustic cuisine made from scratch! You can also find Kevin's intimate Martini Bar and Taproom, serving the latest and most innovative martinis in town. Dine outside on our patio if you wish, or enjoy Pickwick & Frolic stage productions in our 120-seat Frolic Cabaret.
Be entertained anywhere in the 27,000 square foot facility, including Cleveland's only Champagne Bar and Hilarities 4th Street Theatre. Hilarities, a 400 seat built-for-comedy venue complete with skybox loge seating, has been featuring the best in live, national stand-up comedy for more than 30 years! Hilarities has gotten behind ACCIDENTAL COMEDY FEST by being a presenting sponsor of the festival.
It's dope Nicks hard headed belief that something special could exist in Cleveland before anyone else saw it is blending with my hard headed belief that Cleveland could be a great comedy city because I couldn't afford to not live with my dad. A few of the funnest comics I've met in my travels & some of those keeping tabs on the comedy scene will converge in the city I love to do comedy & bring people together. There's not much I'll do in my life that'll make me feel more valid.
2017 will mark the first year the fest will be held at Pickwick & Frolic Restaurant and Club, Accidental Comedy is excited and honored to bring their underground, independent vibe to an established Cleveland treasure known as one of the best comedy experiences in the nation. Combining the marketing efforts of both organizations while utilizing the main theater, cabaret stage, and creatively repurposing portions of the restaurant/patio for additional programming, this year’s festival is sure to be the best yet.
Hugs & Kisses,
Ramon Rivas II

In a business where too many performers rely on shtick or the latest political joke du jour to get laughs, Mike Merryfield is refreshingly original. His act never feels fake or forced. By simply being himself, he’s become a comic on the verge of stardom.

I will be hosting 5 shows over 3 days with Headliner Dan Cummins.
Showtimes are Friday April 14th at 7:30 and 10:00, Saturday 7:00 and 9:30, and one show on Sunday at 7:00pm.
Dan’s unusual observations and unique autobiographical stand-up have earned him spots on The Tonight Show (both Conan and Leno invited him over to the couch!), a Comedy Central half-hour and one-hour special, stand-up appearances on The Late, Late Show, Conan, Comedy Central’s This is Not Happening, and on many other late night and cable programs. He was a cast member for the last three seasons of the continually re-airing World’s Dumbest on TruTv and has appeared on several other pop-up commentary series, including VH1’s I Love the 2000’s.
Dabbling for a time in reality television, Dan also helped produce numerous shows such as Town of the Living Dead for SyFy, Duck Dynasty for A&E, Porter Ridge for Discovery, and several others. Leaving reality to try his hand at scripted television, he also wrote two episodes for season one of the 2016 Family Channel sitcom Raising Expectations, starring Molly Ringwald and Jason Priestly. And in 2015 and 2016 he lived out his teenage self’s dream by hosting over 200 episodes of the hour-long televised variety program, The Playboy Morning Show. Dan’s Playboy duties included MC’ing games with nude Playboy models, interviewing musical guests from G Love to Sir Mix A Lot, actors from Michael Shannon to the cast of Trailer Park Boys, and constantly wondering how he was actually getting paid to do so.
Always remaining focused on standup, his true passion, Dan recently released his fifth comedy album on Warner Brother’s Records, Don’t Wake The Bear. He was also the first comic chosen to be spotlighted by Pandora, where with nearly 200,000 Dan Cummins stations created, is one of their most-listened-to comedians. He rotates heavily on Sirius XM and Spotify, hosts the weekly Timesuck podcast, wrote a graphic novel called Daddy Bear: Three Rabbits Meet the Real World available on Amazon, and odds are, is performing somewhere tonight!

The 3rd Annual Comedy Club night is an event that was created by the OhioGuidestone Advocacy Committee. This event was created in an effort to help fundraising efforts for OhioGuidestone by utilizing talent from Cleveland’s Comedy scene. Many are unaware of the abundance of standup comedy talent that lies within the Greater Cleveland area. We are fortunate to be able to secure venue’s that allow us to put on a show as well as auction off gift baskets to raise funds as well as awareness for the amazing work that an organization like OhioGuidestone conducts.
Very excited to announce that I was invited to be part of the 2nd Burning Bridges Festival in Pittsburgh March 31- April 2nd.
